Happy holidays! Once again, job well done. You guys were awesome at the Haitian Jazz Festival in NYC this past weekend. I made sure I got cd's to give to the deejays so they could play your music on the radio. Trust me, they will play it. Keep bringing that beautiful music. Have a prosperous new year. See you in 2007!

Congratulations on your performance in Haiti. I know that it was something you guys have been working towards for quite some time. Believe me, I was there in spirit, and I prayed for your safe return to the states. I can't wait to see you perform at the 2nd annual Haitian Jazz show in NYC. Keep making that beautiful Haitian music. I love you guys!

Hey Francoise,
Thanks alot for posting to the guestbook with your well-wishes.
The Haiti trip was everything we had hoped for and more. It was an incredible homecoming, the venue was beautiful, and the crowd was so appreciative. (more than 1,500 people!).
We look forward to seeing you in December also, and appreciate your love and support. People like you are what keeps us inspired!

What can I say rather than i saw it you Guys, specially wilmyr and eddy. You may not remember me, i am frere toto Ducasse younger brother. I remember you performing with Limage, joe, rigaud, and sometimes wilmyr in brooklyn (remsen church of God). I left Ny in 2000 with the family to the ATL. It was an embarassment to have an american telling me about you guys and made a copy of your album. I cried with tears of joy seeing you have accomplished and where you have carried our culture. I pass the news and the music to all my friends mostly jazz lovers and they were all impressed. I knew you had it in you guys it was just a matter of times. Whatever you do, remember GOD, put him first because you owe him your talent.

I love you guys please drop by the ATL. Wilmyr your are a true gift from God. My prayer is to see you guys on top of the food chain next to spyro gyra, chuck mengione, gotta, pat metheny, rippingtons, and the others. my email address is liquidoxygen2@hotmail.com, or pierre.ducasse@cingular.com

I've purchased your self titled debut album twice and Rythmic Reflections 5 times. Once for myself, the other times for people who have heard the album and felt it was a must have. I'm proud to say that I gave an album to my masseuse who now features Mozayik on the playlist at a prominent spa in the Orlando area. Thank you for introducing others to our culture through the common language of beautiful music.

Kerline,
I guess we owe you seven thank you's!! One for each cd you bought!
Our deepest appreciation for sharing Mozayik's music, and helping us to reach new audiences, and also for taking the time to write and let us know!

We look forward to making more music for appreciative ears such as yours.

Dear friends:

Thank you for allowing me to humbly partake this wonderful experience. Once again, I take this opportunity to CONGRATULATE you on a job well-done at NJPAC's Sounds of the City 2006 on Thursday, July 20. As always, Mozayik performed at its best and made an excellent representation of Haitian music. I, along with several hundreds of Haitians, who were there to support you, feel very proud.

To the people who do not know that your performance was part of this year's Caribbean Festival, I am proud to announce that your message to the Greater Caribbean Audience was well taken and will bear fruit. The response is overwhelming and I am currently following through with some interested parties, notably the Caribbean American Business Alliance (CABA). I will keep you informed of my progress.

Keep up the good work; this is just the beginning of good things to happen.

Very truly yours,

Fanfan

Well My friends, the performance at Miami's Bongos was electrifying, captivating !!!!!
Please tell Papa Jube how impressive his achiement was considering the difficulties and the nonsense.( I know !!!)

Gashford writes:
Pasha, it was a challenging, learning experience. We also got to learn who our "TRUE" fans and "SUPPORTERS" are... in spite of the difficulties. The goal is to allow people to leave the event feeling happy and satisfied and that's what matters. We have something good planned for next year's Haitian Jazz Festival in Florida. Bigger and better! Ha!

Hey Guys,

I pray that you (and Papa Jube) give to us New Yorkers our second Festival installment in NY.

If it turns out that the grass is greener in Miami, I hope we, the NY fans, get at least one more installment of the Haitian Jazz Festival in NYC.

Consider it a chance for redemption, as many could not get in last year.

I wish you all continued success.

I hope that ten years from today I can take my kids to the hopefully well established Haitian Jazz Festival.

Have Fun in Miami!

Hi Michael,

NY is the birth place of the Haitian Jazz Music Festival and it was the success of the NY festival that allowed us to bring it to Miami. We hope to take this festival ALL- OVER- THE- WORLD!!!! This years NY Haitian Jazz Festival will be held on October 8th. There will be more info on this event soon. You can check www.haitianjazzfestival.com once everything is set and confirmed. Check back here on Mozayik's site or that site periodically for more info.

Hi Didier,
We hope to perform in the Midwest some day. We are steadily working on our music and live performances and hopefully we will continue to meet up with the right people to help us get to new places. Thanks for writing, and letting us know about The Bistro. One way you can help us to reach new audiences is to request our music on your local jazz stations, and continue to spread the word about Mozayik to your friends. Thanks for your support!
